Jack Johnson is gearing up to surf his way across the U.S. on a North American tour that begins in June and runs through early October. An announcement from the long-time environmentalist notes that the excursion “will expand green touring practices and continue to promote sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives.”

“It’s been a while since the band and I have gotten together to play music. We can’t wait to see all our friends on the road next summer and looking forward to a great tour.  Hope to see you at a show! Aloha,” Johnson said in a statement.
The tour kicks off June 21 in Gilford, N.H., at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. Stops on the road trip include Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash.; MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Fla., Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, Calif., and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Johnson is bringing along Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Ziggy Marley, Lake Street Dive, Durand Jones & The Indications, and Ron Artis II & Thunderstorm Artis as special guests on select dates.
Johnson is part of REVERB’s Music Climate Revolution campaign, which unites the music community around positive climate impact. His team is working with promoters and venues in support of the
BYOBottle campaign “to create innovative plastic free campaigns which eliminate disposable plastic, provide water refill stations, and promote reusables.”
The tour will also “promote sustainable and equitable food systems, including support for local farmers and food access” via the Village Green at each show, with Johnson’s All At Once campaign supporting over 200 nonprofit partners throughout the run.
The artist is donating all net proceeds earned through Platinum and Premium ticketing programs  to the Johnson Ohana Foundation. Johnson has also earmarked $2 from every ticket to support the environment, “with half being directed to carbon offset projects and the other half to support the All At Once Non-Profit Partners and their environmental projects, plastic free initiatives, and food security efforts.”
