– VenuesNow Conference 2019
The 2019 VenuesNow Conference takes place in New York City Sept. 10-11.

James Dolan, chairman and CEO of The Madison Square Garden Co., will sit down with Azoff Co. Chairman and CEO Irving Azoff to discuss MSG’s new paradigm-shifting Sphere projects and their impact on the future of global sports and live entertainment venues among other topics at the 2019 VenuesNow Conference in New York. The session is set for Sept. 10 at the Conrad New York Downtown hotel.

Dolan owns the NBA’s New York Knicks and NHL’s New York Rangers and Madison Square Garden, the arena they call home. The Garden typically stands among the world’s busiest and more profitable sports and entertainment facilities.

MSG’s portfolio extends to multiple venues across the country, including the Chicago Theatre, the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre.

Its Sphere projects in Las Vegas and London, designed specifically to use cutting-edge technologies in hosting concerts and live theatrical productions, will be bathed in the latest LED images both inside the building and on the exterior walls.

Azoff, the longtime manager of the Eagles, Gwen Stefani and Bon Jovi among other artists, has been a colleague and business partner with Dolan for several years and continues in the role of consultant for the Sphere projects as well as the Forum.

Azoff’s businesses include Full Stop Management, a leading music management company; Global Music Rights, a performance rights company; and LaneOne, a premium experience company. Azoff is also a co-founder of Oak View Group, the owner of Pollstar and VenuesNow.
