‘Jersey 4 Jersey’ Pandemic Benefit Tonight Features Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Tony Bennett, Whoopi Goldberg



The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund today announced the “Jersey 4 Jersey” one-night broadcast tonight at 7 p.m. ET featuring some of Jersey’s brightest stars, including Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Tony Bennett, and non-musical stars such as Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Stewart, and New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley banding together (from their homes) to raise funds to fight the impact of COVID-19 on their turf.

Also taking part in the event, from their homes, will be Tony Bennett, Danny DeVito, Halsey, Chelsea Handler, Charlie Puth, Kelly Ripa, SZA and still more, with the broadcast also featuring first-hand accounts from front-line workers and citizens impacted by the pandemic.
The event will be broadcast on various platforms,  7 PM EST on Wednesday, April 22, on Apple Music and AppleTV apps, worldwide, also be broadcast live and rebroadcast five times on E Street Radio on SiriusXM, and carried on WABC Channel 7, WPVI 6ABC, WPIX, News12, NJTV and radio outlets including 1010 WINS, WCBS 880, CBS-FM, WFAN, New York’s Country 94.7, Alt 92.3, Q104.3 and others. Social media posts will be shared with the hashtag #jersey4jersey.

Besides raising funds for NJPRF.org, the event will honor those on New Jersey’s front lines, including healthcare workers, first responders and other essential employees. 
 Jersey 4 Jersey will be produced by Joel Gallen, who recently produced the iHeart Living Room Concert Benefit for Fox, in addition to numerous other fundraising television events including the award-winning telethon that immediately followed Sept. 11. Additionally, the event will benefit from the involvement of Irving Azoff, who manages Bon Jovi, Jon Landau (who manages Springsteen) and Joel Peresman, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund was launched March 24 to marshal resources to meet critical needs and fight the economic and social impact of COVID-19 within New Jersey.
NJPRF will provide grants to existing organizations with a demonstrated track record of caring for vulnerable communities. One hundred percent of every dollar received online by NJPRF will go to organizations that provide essential services to those in need and to assist those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
