Le Big Tour: France's First Concert Tour Since March

The singer will be part of the lineup of France’s first concert tour since March.

Live Nation and French public investment bank BPI France have announced the first national tour since the COVID-19 crisis brought this industry to a standstill.

The tour spans 23 dates in summer, travelling along the French coastline from July 29 to Sept. 19.

Aside from concerts by local artists, French businesses will receive a platform to showcase their knowhow, technologies and innovations.

Confirmed artists include Gaumar from Paris and Patrice, a German artist with a strong connection to France. More upcoming and established artists will be confirmed.

The capacity for the live audience will be limited to 600 on each night, Angelo Gopee, managing director and head promoter of Live Nation France, told Pollstar.

The concerts will be live streamed on Live Nation’s socials, where they will later become available on demand.

There are currently no outdoor events taking place in France, a new announcement from the government is expected June 22.

We worked hand in hand with all the teams to welcome the audience in the best conditions, including the teams who will make this tour possible during two months. Artists on stage, fans that vibrate…we will once again find magic moments. We can’t wait to meet you this summer and make this tour a historical moment together,” Gopee commented.

The Big Tour commences July 29 in Vieux-Boucau and closes with two nights in Paris, Sept. 18-19.
