So far we don’t have a date, venue or lineup. Based on the brief statement the band released, all we know is that the event will take place in Los Angeles and be open to the public. The band promised to share details soon.
“Just wanted to say thank you to all our fans around the world for the tremendous outpouring of love, which has strengthened our spirit during this incredibly difficult time,” the band said in the statement attributed to Linkin Park and bassist Dave Phoenix Farrell. “The five of us are so grateful for all of your support as we heal and build the future of Linkin Park.”
Bennington was found dead at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., July 20. The death was ruled a suicide.

Following the news of Bennington’s death, Linkin Park canceled its “One More Light” tour with Machine Gun Kelly.  The trek was supposed to begin July 27 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass. Blink-182, Snoop Dogg, One Ok Rock and Wu-Tang Clan were also scheduled to appear on select dates.
Linkin Park has set up the webpage Chester.LinkinPark.com for fans to leave messages. The site encourages those suffering from suicidal thoughts to get support and lists contact information for the Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Crisis Text Line.
