Live Nation Acquires Remainder Of AC Entertainment, Reorganizes U.S. Concerts Division

Live Nation has reorganized its U.S. Concerts division, expanded some regional offices and made key promotions after fully acquiring AC Entertainment in Knoxville, Tenn., with which it has partnered since 2016.

Current AC Entertainment President Ashley Capps will remain with the company and continue to play an important part in Bonnaroo, along with a number of other events he created. AC Entertainment Vice President Ted Heining becomes President of what will now be Live Nation’s Knoxville, Chattanooga and Asheville office, after more than 23 years with AC Entertainment. Prior to that, Heining was founder and CEO of artist management company 26.2.

The company has also opened a promoter office in Portland, Ore., naming MaryClare Bourjaily to President of Portland, U.S. Concerts. Others promoted to regional president are Kurt Melien of New York City; Sid Greenfeig of Las Vegas; Dave Clark of Michigan; Michael Belkin of Ohio and Kentucky; Josh Lacey of Minneapolis; and Dan Kemer of Indiana.

All new presidents will handle day-to-day operations of their local market including overseeing booking, marketing, production and ticketing.

Amanda Moore has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Las Vegas, after serving five years at the office, most recently as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Bourjaily has been with Live Nation for more than 15 years and most recently served as a Senior Talent Buyer in Seattle. Prior to that position, she worked for House of Blues Chicago.

Melien moves to NYC after serving as President of Live Nation Las Vegas for more than 5 years and, prior to that, was the Vice President and Head of Entertainment for Caesars Entertainment. Former President of New York for U.S. Concerts, Anthony Makes, will continue to handle local booking for the region.

Taking over for Melien in Las Vegas, Greenfeig was Vice President of Booking and Development of arenas at MGM Resorts International where he oversaw booking for the T-Mobile Arena, MGM Grand Garden Arena and Mandalay Bay Event Center. Previously, Greenfeig worked at Live Nation from 2010-14 on the arenas team.

 Clark has been with Live Nation for 20 years and most recently was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Michigan. In addition to his responsibilities in the marketing department, Clark played a major role in booking for the Michigan area and is the tour promoter for Bob Seger.

Michael Belkin was previously Senior Vice President of Booking in Ohio and has a long history with Live Nation, joining the company 20 years ago after being on the management of Belkin Productions, which was founded by his father, Mike Belkin.

Lacey takes over the Minneapolis office after serving as talent buyer for the company Midwest region. He also previously handled booking for the Varsity Theater. He has been a local promoter in the Minneapolis / St. Paul market for more than a decade, playing a key role in the Minnesota music scene.  Live Nation’s new Fillmore Minneapolis opens tonight with Brandi Carlile, who will play three nights in a row to open the new venue. 

In the Indianapolis office, Kremer becomes president after 13 years with Live Nation, where he’d been working as VP of Midwest Clubs & Theatres. He joined the company after more than 15 years with Belkin Productions.
