Migos, Miguel, Cardi B, Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. are just a few of the acts appearing at the sixth Annual Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.

Nipsey Hussle and Rich The Kid are also appearing at RFK Stadium April 28.

Perhaps the biggest news is in the headline.  This will mark the first year for Live Nation Urban’s involvement in the indie event.

Sticking to its “community first and then entertainment” mantra, Broccoli City Lifestyle Group will present the “Broccoli City Week,” seven-day incubator geared toward socio-political consciousness.  Events include 5K city runs, an all-night art escape and action events.

What’s more, fans can volunteer time to work with specific charities in exchange for tickets to the Broccoli City Festival via the event’s “Earn A Ticket” initiative.  Just click here for what you need to know.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. Eastern time.  Check out Pollstar’s Broccoli City Festival page on the other side of this link.
