Lizzo has more love to share with North America. After rocking Coachella to rave reviews, despite sound issues, and selling out the spring North American leg of her “Cuz I Love You World Tour” the singer has announced dates for a fall outing dubbed “Cuz I Love You Too.”
During Sunday’s set at Coachella’s Mojave tent Lizzo was forced to improvise after the backing track to her final song, the kick-ass single “Juice,” reportedly began skipping. The queen of self-love initially tried catching up to the song and then instructed it be cut off.
“From there, the audience took over as a backing track of sorts, singing the interjections as Lizzo and her DJ performed the song a cappella,” Variety writes. “The tent didn’t seem to mind the loss of the backing track – if anything, it made the audience in further awe of Lizzo’s determination and resilience.”

“This is for anyone who ever doubted us and f***ed up our sound,” Lizzo said, before ripping into a flute solo to audience whoops and applause.”
Her world tour shares its name with Lizzo’s third studio album and major label debut, which was released last week. A review from Esquire declares, “It’s not just that singles like the Missy Elliott-featuring ‘Tempo’ deserve Song of the Summer designation, the whole album begs for Album of the Year respect.”

“Cuz I Love You World Tour” kicked off with two nights at San Francisco’s The Warfield Monday and Wednesday. Up next is Friday’s show at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Ore. Sold out North American gigs are booked through May 23 at New York’s Terminal 5 and then she heads to Europe for headline dates and festival appearances. The tour features support from Tayla Parx
The fall excursion begins July 18 at the Edgefield in Troutdale, Ore., and runs through Oct. 27 at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Check out the routing below.
Presales for American Express cardmembers and Citi cardmembers are ongoing, running through Thursday at 10 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, April 26 at 12 p.m. local time.
