Longtime Production Manager, Booking Agent Steve ‘Bogie’ Bogdanovich Dies At 66

Steve “Bogie” Bogdanovich, a production manager and booking agent for Romeo Entertainment Group, died of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in a Omaha, Neb., hospital Aug. 6. He was 66. 

Bogie performed with local bands in Omaha as a teenager and began working at Aksarben Coliseum and Thoroughbred Racetrack until it closed in 2001.
He then joined REG and worked on tours throughout the western U.S. He also founded a video production company, BogieVision, and produced the All Star Jam at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas from 2003 to 2015 and had an annual gig as production manager for the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting in Omaha.
He won the IEBA Talent Buyer of the Year in 2013 and the ACM Talent Buyer of the Year award in 2010.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother and sister. A memorial service will be held in Omaha Aug. 11.
