Lorde Australia/NZ Delayed To 2023 Over ‘Outbreak Uncertainty’

Lorde’s sold-out New Zealand and Australian legs of her “Solar Power Tour” were postponed from March 2022 to Feb. 21 to March 18, 2023, “due to the continuing uncertainty around the current NZ outbreak, and unknown implementation dates of the new traffic light  system.” Two extra shows were added to the new slate, totaling 14.

“I am beyond devastated to be postponing these shows. Starting the tour in New Zealand was always really important to me, and would have been a huge high,” said the act.
Eccles Entertainment handled the NZ leg while Frontier Touring booked Australia.
The tour needed both borders to be fully open to both citizens and non-citizens, as most of Lorde’s touring band and crew are non-citizens and would require exemptions from quarantining.
