Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour” will continue in 2020 with today’s announcement locking down additional stops in the U.S. The band is bringing along special guests Eli Young Band and Travis Tritt on select dates.

Original Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington is joined by lead singer Johnny Van Zant, guitarist Rickey Medlocke, guitarist Mark “Sparky” Matejka, drummer Michael Cartellone, bassist Keith Christopher, keyboardist Peter Keys, and background vocalists Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase.
Since beginning their goodbye outing in 2018, the Southern rockers have played more than 100 gigs in the U.S. and internationally.
During the first leg of the tour, Van Zant told Pollstar he’d noticed the crowds increasing.
“It’s actually even gotten bigger and bigger as the summer went on,” Van Zant says. “I was like, ‘My God!’ And the only way I can explain it to you is that when I first started with Skynyrd, I couldn’t believe the magnitude and how the fans loved the band at that particular time. But I think this, right here, has probably doubled that.”
The band was forced to postpone a few gigs in August due to the illness of Rossington, who had been experiencing fatigue and other symptoms related to a leaky heart valve and  underwent a procedure on July 31 to repair the valve. Lynyrd Skynyrd assured fans Rossington was expected to make a full recovery and the band was back on the road a few days later, selling 11,687 tickets at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, Calif., at an Aug. 24 show that grossed $814,068.
