Madonna Tour Draft – Real Or Fantasy?

A website chronicling the Material Girl’s exploits has posted what may be a “rough draft” of Madonna’s 2012 tour. Then again, it may be fake.

The folks at DrownedMadonna.com received what appears to be a 2012 itinerary for Madonna, complete with the Live Nation logo and the mega-promoter’s Beverly Hills HQ address on the top. Apparently the “unconfirmed source” who emailed the document to the website said the tour will be revealed during a press conference to be held Oct. 31.

Is it the real deal? DrownedMadonna speculates the routing may be a “first tour itinerary draft,” but says it conflicts with what the website had heard earlier this year.

What it does show is a stadium tour beginning in Auckland, New Zealand March 31 and playing Australia during April before heading to Singpapore, Thailand and China. According to DrownedMadonna, the source claimed Chinese authorities wanted to know which songs Madonna would perform on the tour and once supplied with a list, crossed out “Material Girl” and “Erotica.”

But China may not be locked down. The supposedly leaked itinerary tags dates in that country with the word “negotiating,” signifying that any deal on the table has yet to be completed.

The document also shows Maddy playing South Korea and Japan in May and Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv in June.

For North America, the alleged Madonna routing shows her starting with MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.; July 13 and ending with a show at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium Aug. 10. In between it lists stops in Baltimore; Foxboro, Mass.; Moncton, New Brunswick; Toronto; Chicago; Minneapolis; Seattle; New Orleans and California cities Oakland and Anaheim.

But is it a real, honest-to-god Madonna itinerary, albeit, a first draft routing? We don’t know and neither does DrownedMadonna.com. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if Maddy slots a press event for Halloween.
