Drive In Concert Tour

Marc Rebillet, the electronic artist and YouTuber also known as “Loop Daddy,” is embarking on what is being called the first-ever drive-in concert tour, taking place in drive-in movie theatres in the U.S. starting in June.

The shows aim to resemble the classic drive-in movie experience by showcasing short films instead of featuring traditional opening acts, with a portion of proceeds donated to GlobalGiving Coronavirus Relief Fund.
“We need a musical distraction now more than ever,” Rebillet says in the announcement. “I’m deeply pumped to be able to invite people to see me play live in a new, creative and most importantly, safe way.”
The announcement says the concerts will remain compliant with individual state social distancing regulations, allowing fans to enjoy the show from the safety of their own vehicles, but while still providing elements of a typical concert experience, also allowing fans to purchase artist merchandise, food, and more.
United Talent Agency in conjunction with HOTBOX helped ideate, broker and secure all facets of the tour on behalf of Rebillet, as well as for the directors and producers of the featured short films.
“Marc is a groundbreaking artist and his rare combination of innovative humor and wit will deliver an unparalleled live experience when we need it most,”  UTA partner and global head of music David Zedeck said in a statement.
Recently, Rebillet launched a Quarantine Livestream Tour that raised more than $34,000 for GlobalGiving Coronavirus Relief Fund.  His hard-ticket boxoffice history includes sellouts last year at venues including San Francisco’s The Independent (two nights), First Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., (1,200 tickets) and the SWG3 in Glasgow, Scotland.
He is known for improvising with comical lyrics, and primarily distributes his work through YouTube videos and Twitch livestreams.
Tickets can be purchased at https://www.iwannahotbox.com starting at $90 for one car with two passengers.
