Buster Phillips, Maggie Eckford, Hot Chelle Rae’s Ian Keaggy, and Matthew Morgan celebrate the new CAA Nashville offices at the 20th Annual CAA BBQ on June 4, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Morgan, previously co-head of CAA’s festival division, has a client roster including Zac Brown Band, Vintage Trouble, Pussy Riot, The Script, LunchMoney Lewis, Ella Henderson and White Reaper.
Phillips reps Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors.
There is no word as to whether Morgan and Phillips will bring their clients with them.
Morgan specialized in CAA’s contemporary client roster, providing strategic counsel on concert tours and festival event bookings in Plains and Southeast of the United States.
Following two years at Country Music Television and the freelance TV world, Morgan joined the CAA music department in 2004.
At CAA Morgan oversaw festival touring activity for the Los Angeles, New York, and London offices.
Clayton and Morgan were both nominated for the upcoming Pollstar Awards, with Clayton up for the Bobby Brooks Award / Agent of the Year and Morgan for Third Coast Agent of The Year.
Phillips was a panelist at the CIC conference in 2008.

The move comes just as WME announced last month that partners Joey Lee and Jay Williams would join Rob Beckham and Greg Oswald as co-heads of WME’s Nashville office—which puts both CAA and WME’s Nashville offices with four co-heads for the time being.
