The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles is turning its lights on for the first time since October 2019 for a gig from MAX, presented by Amazon Music and streaming exclusively on Twitch.
The gig begins at 6 p.m. PT tonight and is free on the Amazon Music Twitch channel.
MAX will be performing his sophomore album Colour Vision in full for the first time, in celebration of the album’s release.
“The Colour Vision Show Live from the Greek is gonna be the most special live experience we’ve ever put together,” MAX said in a statement. “A life size Rubik’s cube, technicolor lighting, tons of musical surprises, and a bit of Korean in there. I hope people feel the energy and a sprinkle of magic through their screens.”
MAX was on tour earlier this year, opening for Walk Off The Earth in Australia. A show at Concert Hall @ Sydney Opera House grossed $120,425 on 1,794 tickets. MAX’s last reported headline tour was in 2018, when he saw moderate success in clubs throughout the U.S., including a sold-out date at 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
Pollstar wrote in April about Twitch’s presence in the livestreaming ecosystem and Michael Olson, the company’s SVP, Head of Music, was honored in this year’s Impact 50.
