Meek Mill And Future Book Co-Headline U.S. Fall Tour

Meek Mill & Future
– Meek Mill & Future

Meek Mill and Future are headed out on tour together for the first time, with shows booked in 24 cities across the States. The co-headline “Legendary Nights Tour” is made up of amphitheaters and features special guests YG, Mustard and Megan Thee Stallion.

The routing stretches from late August through early October, starting in the Midwest with an Aug. 28 show at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis. Other venues on the schedule include Xfinity Center in Boston, Austin360 Amphitheater, Blossom Music Center in Cleveland, and Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
A presale for TIDAL subscribers begins June 18 at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET and runs through June 20 at 10 p.m. local time. A Citi cardmember presale starts June 18 at 12 p.m. local time and runs through June 20 at 10 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
Mill is continuing to support his fourth studio album, Championships, which he put out in late November, including the lead single “Going Bad” featuring Drake. A year earlier he was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating probation from a 2008 drug and gun possession conviction. The hip-hop star was released in April after nearly five months on “unsecured bail,” according to CNN
He’s since worked for criminal justice reform advocacy, including helping spearhead the REFORM Alliance, an organization dedicated to eradicating outdated probation policies. He was recently honored as a Vanguard for Social Justice by the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research and his efforts were recognized at a private ceremony June 10.
Mill spent the first few months of the year headlining “The Motivation Tour.” Reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice include a March 21 show at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., that sold 6,000 tickets and grossed $307,618.
Future released his seventh studio album, Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd, in January. The LP includes the singles “Crushed Up” and “Jumpin on a Jet,” with guest appearances by Young Thung, Gunna and Travis Scott.
After closing out 2018 by touring with Nicki Minaj, he’s played a handful of dates in 2019 including appearing at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in late May. The last reports we have for Future are from 2017, including his May 19, 2017, headline show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., that sold 13,963 tickets and grossed more than $1.2 million.

Last spring, hip-hop and R&B power agents Zach Iser and Caroline Yim made the move to CAA from ICM Partners, bringing clients to the agency including Future, SZA, Anderson .Paak, Daniel Caesar, Rae Sremmurd, Schoolboy Q, Jhene Aiko, The Internet, Willow Smith, and Kehlani.
