Mint Talent Group is starting the year with a fresh round of hires including agent David Limentani, who is bringing along his roster including AFTM, Bumpin Uglies, Consider The Source, Human Resources, Miss Mojo, Tropidelic, Wild Adriatic, and Yam Yam.
Limentani joins the company after spending years developing acts at Nimbleslick Entertainment.
“Mint has managed to redefine what success looks like for both artists and agents during the pandemic,” Limentani said in a statement. “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with a powerhouse of music industry veterans and look forward to making a positive impact within the company.”
Co-founding agent Phil Egenthal adds, “David’s great tenacity paved the way for him to join MINT. We are excited to bring another agent to MINT who shares our supreme devotion to our clients and our craft.”
The agency has also recently signed several other artists including DeeOhGee, Eric Johansen, Kyle Kinch, Ramsey Lewis, Ruthie Foster, and The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.
MINT Talent Group was launched in September with a company made up of agents formerly from several different companies representing a range of artists across genres. C.J. Strock, formerly of William Morris Endeavor, teamed up with Patrick McAuliff and Egenthal, formerly of Paradigm, to form MINT and they were joined by Mary Allen & Cassie Siegel (Madison House) Michael Morris & Ryan Owens (Paradigm), Peter Wiederlight (WME) and Logan Handelsman (CAA), along with a roster featuring the Allman Brothers Band, Blackberry Smoke, Brian McKnight, CloZee, Erasure, George Porter Jr., Mavis Staples, Rising Appalachia, Stick Figure, Trevor Hall, Steel Pulse, Stephen Marley, Taj Mahal and many others.
Former UTA agent Jesse Rosoff was added to the staff in November, accompanied by clients including Larkin Poe, Lissie, Alfredo Rodriguez, Pinback, Jesse Malin, Tal Wilkenfeld, TAUK, Sugaray Rayford, The Bright Light Social Hour, Dave Harrington, Nate Mercereau, Mr Little Jeans and more.
MINT’s other hires announced Jan. 13 include Isabel Brougham, who has joined as Head of Marketing, where she will oversee marketing strategy and execution for the company’s roster – including implementing a 47-point marketing plan with a focus on building fan following market-by-market.
She was formerly the Senior Marketing Manager at Goldenvoice.
“I am excited to move over to the agency side and hope to help cultivate a new era of agency marketing, drawing from my many years of promoter experience. MINT’s 47 point marketing checklist is a perfect representation of that new era,” Broughham says.
Amanda Levine has been announced as strategic branding partner, representing MINT’s artist roster and sports properties in the brand community. Levine is the CEO of Ruler Branded Entertainment (RBE) and has a quarter century experience in the entertainment, brand and events industries. She’s worked in marketing for GMR Marketing, Colangelo Synergy Marketing as well as media with Billboard after spending a dozen years in the record industry with Atlantic, Jive and Wind-Up.
