Mo Morrison Dies

Mo Morrison, a legendary touring professional, died April 7.

Morrison, 61, became the first person inducted into the newly created Parnelli Hall of Fame in October.

At the time he was tour director for Lady Gaga.

Morrison began his career as a stagehand after getting his inspiration by being an attendee of Woodstock.

He began work at the Capitol Theatres in Port Chester, N.Y., and Passaic, N.J., before joining a Grateful Dead stadium tour as production manager.

He was also site coordinator for several Michael Jackson stadium tours, production manager for Prince and, for 12 years, production manager for Andrea Bocelli.

He was also involved with several live concert, comedy and awards productions and worked with names like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney and KISS.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. April 9 at Hillside Memorial Park on 6001 W. Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles.
