Mogwai Announces April 2022 North American Tour

Mogwai is sharing the love with North American fans. The Scottish rock band just unveiled the routing for a tour booked in April 2022 that starts at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. 

The group is supporting its 10th studio album, As The Love Continues, which was released in February. Mogwai showed off the new tunes with a performance livestreamed at the Glasgow Tramway. A review of the album by NME noted, “As The Love Continues’ is an album that opens beautifully but falls short at times during its second half. Then again, the whole record works so much better in a live setting – and will continue to do so when Mogwai finally hit the road again.” 
The North American outing is filled with gigs at iconic clubs and theatres like Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, First Avenue in Minneapolis, The Showbox in Seattle, The Fillmore in San Francisco and The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Three shows are booked in Canada: Corona Theatre in Montreal, Danforth Music Hall in Toronto and Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. 
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 30 at 9 a.m. local time. 
Reports for Mogwai submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice include a sold-out Dec. 10, 2017, show at 9:30 Club that sold 812 tickets and grossed $20,300.
