Moment Factory designed elements of Billie Eilish

Montreal-based creative design firm Moment Factory topped the list of 50 Most Innovative Companies released this week by business magazine Fast Company to recognize forward-thinkers in technology, leadership and design.

Among other projects of note, Moment Factory designed installations for Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo and is credited by the magazine with producing events that “overstimulate all five senses at once” with “head-spinning, mind-blowing immersive events” for its clients. The company also has offices in New York City, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo.
“Times change, technologies change, and recently our world has changed, but the basic human need to safely gather, connect, and share remains,” Moment Factory co-founder & Creative Director Sakchin Bessette said in a statement. “Interactive technology is truly transportive but it’s often a solo experience – we make worlds for people to enter together, in real life. That’s why ‘we do it in public’ and we are honored by Fast Company’s inclusion.”
Moment Factory specializes in creation and development of mobile AR innovations, mixed reality features, life-sized augmented games, responsive and generative walls, floors, and objects, and extended reality events.
Over the last decade, Moment Factory has been recognized as a top innovator by Fast Company for “manufacturing visually, sonically, and experientially stunning shows” for Jay Z, the Black Keys, Arcade Fire, and Madonna (Super Bowl; “The MDNA Tour”), according to the company. Moment House has also designed installations for Jay Z & Timberlake’s stadium tour, Childish Gambino, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, and Denver’s Meow Wolf.
Other concert-related firms recognized on the list by Fast Company include SeatGeek, for its ADAPT suite of ticketing products designed to help venues get fans back to events safely following pandemic-related shutdowns, and 88Rising, for “celebrating Asian artists with the world’s next big music festival,” Head In The Clouds, which returned to the Rose Bowl grounds in Pasadena, Calif., Nov. 6-7.
