MSG Entertainment Taps Fibiger, Vaccarello For New Roles, Streamlining Bookings

Madison Square Garden Entertainment has promoted Randy Fibiger to senior vice president, bookings, and expanded the role of Josephine Vaccarello to senior vice president of MSG Live & Business Operations, the company announced June 21.

According to the announcement, the newly created roles “will ensure that all live entertainment bookings are streamlined across MSG Entertainment’s portfolio of venues.” Among them are Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, the Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. 
Fibiger and Vaccarello continue reporting to MSG Entertainment EVP Darren Pfeffer. 
“In elevating and expanding these two key roles within Live, we are ensuring that we are able to serve the industry and our fans in the best way possible,” Pfeffer stated. “Josephine and Randy are instrumental to our live entertainment business. Their relationships within the industry and expertise across all areas make them integral in leading our business operations and bookings groups, respectively, ensuring MSG Entertainment continues to raise the bar in creating exceptional moments for artists and fans alike:
In his new role, Fibiger will oversee all concert bookings across MSG Entertainment venues and for the Boston Calling festival. He’ll directly book Madison Square Garden and supervision the booking team. Fibiger will “focus on unique event opportunities including residencies, multi-night and multi-city bookings, and more,” MSG states. 
Fibiger, a 23-year concert industry veteran, started his career as an agent’s assistant at International Creative Management in New York. He became talent buyer for House of Blues clubs in West Hollywood, Calif., and Las Vegas, and helped book and manage national tours. From there, he moved on to Live Nation’s Philadelphia office as a talent buyer before returning to New Yorkto join the MSG Entertainment in 2009. 
Vaccarello, in an expanded role, will oversee the business and operations strategy for MSG’s live business while continuing her responsibilities for family entertainment and performing arts, venue tours and special events. Across all areas, she will focus on “optimizing the use of MSG Entertainment’s five venues and develop booking strategies that drive growth,” according to th company’s announcement. 
Vaccarello joined Radio City Entertainment in 1998 and eventually became Coordinator, Concerts and Entertainment with MSG Entertainment. Since then, Vaccarello has advanced from manager to director to VP and now Senior Vice President, Live. 
Throughout Vaccarello’s career at MSG Entertainment, she has successfully contributed to the bookings division in securing top arena shows and events including the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and Z100’s Jingle Ball, as well as family entertainment and theatrical properties across MSG venues. 
With the appointments, Peter Mongillo, Director, Live, MSG Entertainment; and Jeanine Kalikow, Senior Manager, Bookings, MSG Entertainment, will report to Fibiger. Mongillo will be responsible for booking Hulu Theater at MSG and The Chicago Theatre; Kalikow will book the Beacon Theatre. 
Radio City Music Hall is in the process of hiring a manager at a future date to book the storied venue, who will also report to Fibiger.
