The Coda Collection announced a new Amazon Prime Video channel on Wednesday.

The Coda Collection, a new multimedia company catering to music fans, announced an exclusive streaming partnership with Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday.

The new channel, which debuts Feb. 18 in the United States, will feature more than 150 titles upon launch, including the streaming premieres of concert films such as “Music, Money, Madness…Jimi Hendrix In Maui,” “The Rolling Stones On The Air,” “Johnny Cash At San Quentin” and “Miranda Lambert: Revolution Live By Candlelight.”

The Coda Collection’s Amazon Prime Video channel will also feature new exclusive performances from the likes of Jane’s Addiction and Stone Temple Pilots, the streaming premiere of Bob Dylan’s “Trouble No More,” an upcoming documentary about Dave Grohl and sets by Dead & Company.

Artists including Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Paul Simon, The Avett Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Tyler Childers and Billy Strings also have Coda Collection content on the horizon.

The channel’s content partners include Rhino Entertainment, Concord Music, Mercury Studios, Reelin’ In The Years Productions and CREEM Magazine. Sony Music Entertainment is an equity partner of The Coda Collection.

Amazon Prime members will be able to subscribe to The Coda Collection for $4.99 per month, with a free 7-day trial, and the channel will continue posting content regularly after its launch.

The Amazon Prime Video channel is just one dimension of The Coda Collection, which is also launching a website featuring music editorial content – written pieces, video interviews, podcasts and curated playlists – helmed by former Chicago Tribute music critic Greg Kot.

“What’s being lost in today’s swarm of streaming services and search engines is the deep connection that is fueled by the stories that surround all the songs and artists we love,” said Coda Collection CEO and co-founder Jim Spinello in a statement. “The Coda Collection is built to bring to life all the stories between the songs for both artists and fans.”

Spinello’s co-founded The Coda Collection with several other music business veterans, including Yoko Ono and Janie Hendrix, the sister of late guitarist Jimi Hendrix and CEO of Experience Hendrix.

“John was always on the cutting edge of music and culture,” Ono said in a statement. “The Coda Collection will be a new way for fans to connect on a deeper level.”

“The way the world appreciates music is evolving and changing,” Hendrix said in a statement. “The Coda Collection is how we grow with that change. It transcends basic music streaming and takes fans on a real journey into the heart of the songs they love and the artists, like Jimi Hendrix, who created those songs.”
