nugs.net announced discounted subscriptions and a partnership with the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund on Wednesday.

nugs.net has played a major role in the streaming sphere in 2020, building upon its established product to bring fans new content nightly and integrate charitable aspects into its offering.

The platform announced another charitable partnership – coupled with a can’t-beat deal for customers – on Wednesday. Until January 2, nugs.net is currently offering year-long subscriptions, which encompass unlimited streaming of more than 25,000 official live concert recordings and access to video-on-demand concerts in HD and 4K, for $50, a steep discount from the standard price of $129.99.

Beyond the deal, each new subscription will prompt a $5 donation to the Sweet Relief Musician Fund’s COVID-19 Fund, created to help struggling musicians and music industry workers during the pandemic’s challenging times.

Sweet Relief has partnered with several entities, including Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and Live From Out There, during the pandemic.

“It is incredibly important for us to support the countless unemployed workers, and musicians who rely on income touring and live music,” said Brad Serling, nugs.net founder and CEO and a member of the 2020 edition of Pollstar’s Impact 50, in a statement. “Some of them are dealing with medical bills stemming from personal struggles with the virus. “That’s why, we are donating a portion of every new nugs.net subscription to support Sweet Relief’s mission to assist those musicians and industry workers directly impacted by the virus. This promotion is good news for live music fans, and it’s desperately needed support for the bedrock of the live music community.”
