Pinnacle manages venues like the 7,972-capacity  at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla., and does security assessments for the NBA, NHL, some MLB teams and venues like the 20,500-capacity Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. It also offers consulting and strategic planning to clients including the City of Norfolk, Va., and the University of Albany Athletics.

Pinnacle’s operations will now be overseen by OVG Facilties and the entire division will be led by OVG’s Arena Alliance Co-Chairman Peter Luukko.

“OVG has been committed to facility management since day one and our goal is to build the biggest facility management company in the world,” said OVG CEO Tim Leiweke. “We take a 360 approach to facility management and when you combine our ground-game, assets and relationships, and add to that Peter’s leadership, we feel we’re poised to do big things.”

The company also announced industry veteran Sims Hinds is joining the OVG team, to “work closely with OVG’s Arena Alliance focused on facility development and management.”

A multiyear booking deal between OVG and the Florida Panthers for all programming at the 20,000-capacity  in Sunrise, Fla was also recently finalized.
