Yes, it’s another adventure from the creative world of Muppet-maker The Jim Henson Company. Of course, families with pre-schoolers can already tell you about the show featuring interactive dance, music and adventures running nightly on Sprout and Saturday mornings on NBC Kids. For the little ones it’s a chance to see their TV buddies up close and personal while their parents rediscover what it’s like to be young, innocent and wide-eyed.

Written by Pajanimals co-creator Alex Rockwell along with Bradley Zweig, the tour is produced by Red Light Management with choreography by Myles Thorogood.

As long-time touring data aficionados already know, an announcement of this magnitude is required by law (The Kermit Act of 1979) to include at least one quote from those involved with production. Thankfully, the folks at The Jim Henson Company have provided not one, but two quotes from Pajanimals insiders.

“Pajanimals is one of our most beloved shows, and families are invited to see these characters live on stage and share a special Pajanimals adventure with Squacky, Cowbella, Apollo and Sweet Pea Sue,” Jim Henson Company CEO Lisa Henson said. “Our team always envisioned the property as a theatrical experience for families everywhere. We know this new live show will be something that will create a lasting memory.”

“Families will be dancing in the aisles and singing the songs along with the Pajanimals,” “Pajanimals Live!” executive producer Jonathan Shank said. “We encourage all children and caretakers to wear their favorite pajamas for an awesome play date with Pajanimals.”

A Sprout pre-sale, including VIP packages, is already underway. General onsales launch in most cities Nov. 17. Visit PajanimalsLive.com for more information.
