Paramore Announces ‘After Laughter’ Dates

Paramore announces its summer plans, a June through July road trip that includes Foster The People plus a special guest to be announced.

Touring in support of After Laughter, released last May through Fueled By Ramen, Hayley Williams and her Paramore comrades will hit the high seas come April for the band’s annual Parahoy! cruise to the Bahamas.  The newly announced North America tour begins just four days after Paramore’s June gig at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn.  Stops include Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, Philadelphia’s Festival Pier, Oklahoma City’s Zoo Amphitheatre and Salt Lake City’s Usana Amphitheatre wrapping the tour at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., near Denver.

Dates submitted to Pollstar for Paramore’s September-October North American tour shows a band filling rooms to near capacity if not selling each and every ticket.  Box office data for the group’s Oct. 4 gig at New York’s Radio City Music Hall resulted in 5,698 of the available 5,865 tickets sold for a $365,849 gross.  The band hit the sellout mark two nights later at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pa., near Philadelphia when the night’s box office showed 2,644 tickets sold for a gross totaling $165,952.

Paramore is partnering with Ticketmaster to use the ticket seller’s Verified Van platform.  Registration for Verified Fan runs through March 11 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time.  The Verified Fan presale launches Mar 14 at 9 a.m. and runs through March 15 at 10 p.m.

Citi is the “After Laughter Summer Tour” official presale credit card, meaning Citi members can participate in a special Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan running through March 11 at 10 p.m.  The Citi presale launches March 13 at 10 a.m.
