Paul McCartney brings his “One on One” tour to the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for two shows Oct. 1-2.
Live and let tour! Paul McCartney has expanded his “Freshen Up” tour into 2019 with the announcement the first five U.S. dates.
The U.S. “Freshen Up” gigs start May 27 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. Here’s the plan for the U.S. so far:  

May 27: Raleigh N.C., PNC Arena
May 30: Greenville S.C., Bon Secours Wellness Arena 
June 1: Lexington Ky., Rupp Arena
June 6: Madison Wis., Kohl Center
June 11: Moline Ill., TaxSlayer Center

The tour is already routed through Canada, Japan, and Europe in 2018. More dates are coming, so keep your eyes peeled.


There is presale on his website for fans and another for American Express cardholhders Sept. 4. The general onsale begins Sept. 7 at 10 a.m.

Macca is pushing tunes from a new album, Egypt, due out Sept. 7 through Capitol Records. 

The last time a Paul McCartney tour ran through the U.S., last year, it was big business. He grossed a reported $55.8 million on 22 stops in 16 cities, good enough to get him to No. 21 on the 2017 Top 200 North American Tours chart. He sold approximately 3.5 million tickets at an average price of $148. 

McCartney is to appear on the Howard Stern Show Sept. 5 and the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Sept. 6.
