The J. Geils Band frontman released his eighth solo album this year after a six year hiatus. A Cure For Lonliness on Concord Records includes originals and a remake of J. Geils Band’s classic “Love Stinks.”  A handful of the songs were co-written with Will Jennings and Don Covay. The LP received four stars from both Rolling Stone and American Songwriter.

NPR Fresh Air said, “It’s clear that the cure for loneliness spoken of in the title of this album isn’t the love of other people, but a love of music. It’s music that has never let Peter Wolf down, that has always sustained him over half a century.”

The Midnight Travelers consists of the highly talented David Levine (guitar), Kevin Barry (guitar), Marty Ballou (bass) and Tom Arey (drums). Wolf is sure to put on an extraordinary show. Check out the dates below.
