Phish ends its 2015 summer tour by performing at its annual residency at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., Sept. 4, 2015.

Phish has been forced to curtail parking and disallow camping for its three Labor Day weekend shows at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.

The band cited ongoing cases of plague in prairie dog colonies in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge which took place over the summer.  The Tri-County Health Department has given the OK to the venue to host the three concerts.
The band’s statement reads: “While there have been no confirmed cases of plague on site at the venue, as an extra measure of caution, the Health Department has restricted parking at the venue to asphalt lots — concertgoers will not be allowed to park on unpaved lots or grass.
“Overnight camping has also been prohibited for this year’s shows. All camping tickets and RV tickets (and associated service charges) will be automatically refunded within the next few days. While DSGP has significant asphalt parking on site, off-site parking will need to be utilized to accommodate all concertgoers.  The venue will provide free off-site parking and free shuttles at nearby locations, and ticket holders will be notified of parking and shuttle details once they are finalized over the next week.
“Due to these restrictions, vending will not be permitted on site as the area traditionally set aside for it is no longer usable.”
Phish has been plagued by natural disasters before, being forced to cancel its August 2018 Curveball Festival at Watkins Glen – the hoped-for home for Woodstock 50 – due to health concerns over the quality of the drinking water.
