Posty Fest 3: Halloween Weekend At AT&T Stadium

While the announcement mentions no other artists, it does confirm that Posty himself will host and headline the all-outdoors event, promising music, food, art, culture and beer. A pre-sale launches tomorrow, July 29,  at 10 a.m., before the general onsale July 30 at 10 a.m.

The inaugural Posty Fest took place in 2018 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, selling out upon onsale according to agency UTA, before moving to the Dallas Cowboys home at AT&T Stadium for year two, which saw both indoor and outdoor performances and attractions. That event sold 45,000 tickets Nov. 2, 2019, and grossed $3.6 million according to UTA.

It also notably featured 20 sponsors involved in the event, with Post Malone one of the hottest names in popular music and brands eager to be involved with the hit-maker’s marquee event in his home market. The world of Posty Fest, personified by the “little yellow devil baby” mascot known as “Dimitri,” led to many onsite co-brand products and activations. Brand partnerships ranged from everything from Nerf o Caterpillar, with UTA’s Toni Wallace explaining, “Caterpillar gave us three tractors onsite for Instagrammable moments. He loves Caterpillar. Same for Nerf. He loves Nerf, and they came on board and had a Nerf arena which was really great. The line was around the block, three or four activations worth all day.” 

London teased at this year’s Pollstar Live that Posty Fest would  again be taking place sometime in October.  The event may be taking a cue from Travis Scott’s also-Texas Astroworld event, which has gone on sale before announcing a lineup, building anticipation and leading to surprises.  

Post Malone just wrapped a headlining set at Rolling Loud in Miami, July 25, the hit-maker’s first show in 18 months and joined by a sea of fans singing along word for word.
