Production Resource Group has added two new digital studios to its growing worldwide network of locations to pre-record and livestream digital content.

The two new studios in Los Angeles and Las Vegas join existing studios in New York Metro, Orlando, and Nashville, Birmingham, London, Hamburg, Paris and Brussels. PRG is also promising studios in Berlin and Chicago soon.

“Our studios are purpose built and technologically advanced to meet the demands for production today with facilities, people and technology that are scalable and agile,” Randy Hutson, CEO of PRG Music, said in a statement. “The LED stage in the Los Angeles studio is 30-by-30 feet so it can meet the demands of large musical acts and live and recorded video shoots as well as commercial and corporate needs.”

Projects already produced inside PRG Digital Studios include award shows, livestreams concerts, commercial shoots, and virtual tradeshows.

The studios are designed with COVID protocols and all facilities include configurable LED walls and flooring, broadcast and streaming capabilities, separate control rooms and ceiling truss systems. Los Angeles actually has two locations, one of which is its xR Stage which has immersive, extended reality capabilities. The “American Idol” finale was filmed on the XR stage.

PRG also recently announced it was part of the “Virtual Crowd” partnership with Fireplay and Clair Global that is teaming up to provide a live-crowd solution for virtual events.

PRG Chairman and CEO Jere Harris spoke with Pollstar in April saying the production industry stands ready to help with whatever the needs are to fight the coronavirus pandemic and aid in the recovery.
