Japan’s Creativeman Productions announced that Queen with Adam Lambert will tour Japan in January as part of their 2020 Rhapsody Tour.

The biopic of the band, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” continues to pack ‘em in at Japanese movie theaters, and long ago became the biggest foreign film ever released in the country in terms of boxoffice receipts.
So far, the tour will cover the Saitama Super Arena, north of Tokyo, Jan. 25-26, the Kyocera Dome in Osaka Jan. 28, and Nagoya Dome Jan. 30. Creativeman announced the tour on April 17, which was the 44th anniversary of the band’s first arrival in Japan. Between 1975 and 1985 Queen carried out six tours of the country.
In a statement, band leader Brian May said, “The fond relationship between Queen and the Japanese people is legendary. It will be the greatest thrill for us to return in January to the country that first recognized Queen music nearly 50 years ago.”
The band has North American arena dates this summer.
