The Rock, Rap And Retro Tour hits sheds and state fairs around North America beginning August 6. Dates stretch through the end of September. Newbie artists Jump 5, No Secrets and Triple Image are set to open on select dates.

“I’m always trying to reach as many fans in person as possible with a positive music message,” Carter said, “and of course, at the same time, have fun and party. This tour will sizzle!”

In between tours, Carter has been in the studio working on his third album, to be released in the fall. The upcoming disc will follow his hit record, Oh Aaron, which entered the charts at No. 7. He holds the record for the youngest male solo artist to have four Top 40 singles.

Before his tour, Carter will join forces with big brother Nick of Backstreet Boys fame for a free concert May 31. The event will be taped near Central Park in New York City for CBS’ Early Show. The brothers will sing their duet, “Not Too Young, Not Too Old.”

Aaron and Nick will also make appearances at three major radio shows during June.
