Rolling Loud New York Topped by Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert

Miami-based Rolling Loud continues its expansion with the announcement of its first New York lineup, topped by major rap artists Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, Wu-Tang Clan and Lil Uzi Vert Oct. 12-13 at Citi Field in Queens, N.Y.

Others on the predictably stacked, all-hip-hop bill include Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Juice WRLD, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tyga, YG, Gunna, Trippie Redd, DaBaby, Blueface, Young Thug, DMX and many others.
Tickets go on sale Friday July 26 at 10 a.m. local time.
The lineup notably includes Travis Scott, who’s been playing the biggest stages for the last couple of years now, is one of this year’s major tours as well as his own Astroworld Festival, which took place at NRG Park in Houston Nov. 17.
It also includes A$AP Rocky, who at press time remains in detention in Sweden, and Lil Uzi Vert, who Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif recently told Pollstar is likely to become a major tour headliner of his own, despite missing performances in recent years.
As for just how big that expansion becomes, Cherif previously told Pollstar that Rolling Loud may hit 10-12 markets, “Just a sustainable amount.”
Although with major headliners on its events, Rolling Loud co-founders Cherif and Matt Zingler  are committed to tastemaking and providing a platform for rising artists.
“I think for us, from the lineup perspective and future bookings, Rolling Loud is really focused on the experiential and also about booking the next Travis Scott or Post Malone,” Zingler said. “We pride ourselves on platforming talent and showcasing up and coming talent that will be the next big thing. I think we do a great job at that, and that’s what separates us from a lot of other festival properties.”
“I really do believe that we will always book who you want to see and who’s hot, but everything needs to be at certain prices, and we want to make sure we can provide that same experience for people at the right price,” Zingler added.
The NYC lineup drop follows two other recent Rolling Loud announcements in Rolling Loud Hong Kong taking place Oct. 19-20 (co-produced with Live Nation Electronic Asia, lineup forthcoming) and Rolling Loud Bay Area at the Oakland Coliseum grounds at the end of September with Future, G-Eazy, Migos and Lil Uzi Vert topping the bill.
It also follows increasing competition in the hip-hop space, most notably with Goldenvoice announcing its own Day N Vegas festival, a similar-style event, Nov. 1-3 at the Las Vegas Festival grounds topped by Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott and J. Cole.
