RÜFÜS DU SOL Announces 2021 Southwest U.S. Headline Dates

To go along with high-profile festival dates and multi-night runs at Red Rocks and Banc of California Stadium, Australian dance band RÜFÜS DU SOL has announced fall headline dates in the U.S. Southwest.

Produced by Live Nation, the fall tour includes gigs at venues including Las Vegas’ Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, Phoenix’s Arizona Federal Theatre, Dallas’ The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, and 401 Franklin Street in Houston, Texas. 

The announcement comes in the wake of one of the band’s largest headlining shows to date at Los Angeles’s Banc of California Stadium, Nov. 12-14, which sold 70,000 tickets in three days, according to the tour announcement.  That achievement follows two sold-out nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in August, and high-profile festival appearances at Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, III Points and more. 

The tour news arrives one day before the release of “Alive,” a new single from the band that premiered July 13.

RÜFÜS DU SOL was on a tear in 2018-2019, with box office reports submitted to Pollstar including sellouts at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., (6,000 tickets, $220,440 grossed), two nights at Austin City Limits Live at Moody Theater (5,108 tickets sold, $201,766 grossed) and two nights at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, Calif., which moved a combined 17,048 tickets for promoter Another Planet Presents and grossed more than $767,000.
