The first edition of SAGA Festival welcomed some 45,000 visitors.

Every day of the festivalgoers got to enjoy a seven-minute drone show at the main stage. To enter the site, they had to produce one of the following health checks: a negative PCR or antigen test, and immunity certificate, or a digital vaccination certificate.

ALDA CEO Allan Hardenberg said, “There was fantastic energy at SAGA, the audience was amazing. The artists were also extremely excited and felt joy and a sense of friendship all around them. We thank all those who started this journey with us and who supported us unconditionally.”
He said his team was already in talks to put together next year’s lineup, which will they’ll begin to announce in a few weeks. While next year’s SAGA date has already been set, June 3-5, 2022, Hardenberg hinted that something else from ALDA might be coming before that: “The public is the most important for us and we always want to surprise them with the most interesting projects. All we can say right now is that we will reunite faster than you can imagine.”
Romania will be treated to another EDM extravaganza by ALDA this month already, an Armin van Buuren solo show is coming to Bucharest’s Constitution Square Sept. 25.
