‘Sessions Live Canada’ Virtual Concerts Launches With The Feldman Agency

The Feldman Agency has teamed with Sessions Live for the launch of Sessions Live Canada, which it calls the first live streaming platform custom-built to support musicians by expanding their fanbase while generating income.

“Following an extensive search of live interactive streaming platforms, it was clear that Sessions offered an elite proprietary advertising algorithm that stood out from the others,” TFA President Jeff Craib said in a statement.  This provides a distinct advantage for Sessions Live Canada as a platform and for the artists that use it.”

Sessions Live Canada is a virtual music platform that builds a fanbase and community by combining live interactive streaming with the engagement and monetization features of advanced game design, according to the announcement.

“We are excited to partner with The Feldman Agency to create an opportunity for their talented stable of Canadian artists” said Tim Westergren, co-founder of Sessions. “By combining the magic of live performance with the power of advanced gaming to attract and engage a virtual audience we can fundamentally change the way artists build and sustain their careers.”

Sessions Live Canada allows artists to perform in a variety of ways, be it live via their mobile device or laptop or in high definition and enhanced unique audio from within a studio environment.

Available as both an app and online, the portal looks to usher in a new form of musical performance while allowing artists to expand their fanbase with direct marketing, content and financial results.

“We are thrilled to work with the Sessions team to bring this innovative virtual concert platform to the Canadian marketplace,” shares TFA Vice President, Joel Baskin.  “We look forward to uniting Sessions with artists and our colleagues across the Canadian music industry, so they can take advantage of the multiple revenue-generating opportunities available.  It is much needed right now across our entire industry, as we build a pathway to help and support.”

Sessions Live Canada premieres Aug. 14 featuring JUNO Award nominee Tyler Shaw.
