Shawn Mendes has his 2022 plans laid out in a big way as the Grammy-nominated, multi platinum singer-songwriter prepares for his 64-arena “Wonder: The World Tour” with King Princess on UK and European dates, and Dermot Kennedy and Tate McRae in support in North America. If 64 arenas weren’t enough, Mendes promises more dates will be announced “soon.”

The worldwide jaunt kicks off at Copenhagen, Denmark’s Royal Arena March 14 and runs through 25 more cities before winding down at WiZink Center in Madrid, Spain, May 20. The ambitious tour then crosses the pond for a North American leg launching in Portland, Ore., June 27 and hits cities including Vancouver, B.C.; Washington, D.C.; Brooklyn, N.Y.; Los Angeles, and Miami, Fla., before wrapping in Newark N.J., Oct. 26.
American Express and North America FirstAccess presale begin on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. local time and the general fan presale begins the next day, also at 10 a.m. local time. Some onsales vary by city, so please check the tour’s website for detailed ticket information. http://wonderthetour.com
To access the FirstAccess and General Fan presales, download the ShawnAccess app or sign up at ShawnAccess.com; these presales are available to all ShawnAccess members for free by logging in and claiming a presale code.
The tour announcement follows Shawn’s most recent album Wonder that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200, making Mendes one of three male artists ever to score four No. 1 by 22 years old – as well as his new hit single, “Summer of Love” with Tainy.
Mendes will pick up where he left off Dec. 20-21, 2019, where he sold out two shows at Mexico City’s 14,431-capacity Palacio De Los Deportes. In the 18 months prior to the shutdown, he was averaging 15,179 tickets sold and a gross of $1,088,231 per show.
Mendes, also in 2019, was nominated for a Grammy Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Señorita,” his single with Camila Cabello. In 2018 he released his self-titled platinum album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart as well as multiple worldwide markets.
The album became one of the top best-selling album debuts of 2018 and made Mendes the third-youngest solo artist to ever have three consecutive No.1 albums.
On his last world tour, Mendes sold out his first ever stadium show in minutes at Rogers Centre in his hometown of Toronto. The tour began in March 2019, with over 100 dates across the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
