Sónar Festival Spain Enters Into Exclusive Ticketing Agreement With DICE

Sónar Festival in Barcelona, Spain, has chosen ticketing and event discovery platform DICE as its exclusive ticketing partner in an undisclosed multi-year deal.

The first edition of Sónar, for which DICE will handle ticketing, will be the 2022 edition, June 16-18, for which more than 50 artists have been confirmed, including The Chemical Brothers, The Blaze, Eric Prydz, Arca, Nathy Peluso, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Blessed Madonna, Richie Hawtin, AJ Tracey, Channel Tres, Serpentwithfeet, Herrensauna XXL, Joy Orbison, Helena Hauff, Kiddy Smile, Folamour, Tiga, Hudson Mohawke, and Princess Nokia.
“Beyond ticketing, selected shows from the 2022 edition of the Festival will be available to live stream via DICE,” the partnerships announcement states.
DICE has so far hosted over 6,000 livestreams on its platform, with the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Laura Marling, Nick Cave and Bicep, in addition to festivals including Iceland Airwaves and The Nations’ Room Service.

By its own admission, the company has sold tickets in 178 countries.
