The name of the live touring game is stadiums these days, as eight of the top 10 acts on the Global Concert Pulse chart this week are playing on some of the biggest stages the industry can offer.

The top slot is still occupied by Ed Sheeran, who averages a jaw-dropping $11.38 million gross per market and 123,346 tickets per market thanks to his summer European stadium tour. Sheeran is currently touring North American stadiums throughout the remainder of 2018.
Nipping at Ed’s heels is Taylor Swift, whom he was opening for just a few years ago. Taylor has reported 21 markets in the past few months and is averaging $10.86 million and 85,455 tickets per city. Though her ticket numbers are well behind Ed’s, her gross is close thanks to her average ticket price, which is higher by nearly $35.
Other stadium acts on the Pulse this week include The Rolling Stones, Jay-Z/Beyoncé, Guns N’ Roses, Eagles, and Kenny Chesney
The non-stadium acts in the Top 10 this week include Celine Dion at No. 5 and Pink at No. 9. Both are packing arenas with average ticket prices at $215 and $128 respectively. U2 has repeatedly proven itself as a stadium act, but for the group’s current tour through Europe it is taking multiple nights at arenas.
Springsteen On Broadway remains the highest charting theater show thanks to its average ticket price of $509.
The first new entry on the chart this week is Zoé, who has reported 14 markets with average ticket sales of 6,204 and an average gross of $224,035. The Mexican rock group has toured throughout North America in the past few months but the majority of reports are from Mexico, including plays at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City; Viejo Aereopuerto in Queretaro; Auditorio Telmex in Zapopan; Teatro Morelia in Morelia; and Poliforum Leon in Leon.
Buddy Guy has also submitted reports from his summer run through North America, including co-headline gigs with Jonny Lang and solo dates with his protégé Quinn Sullivan supporting. Buddy is averaging $70,435 per show with an average of 1,160 tickets.
The last nine entries on this week’s chart are all new and from a grab bag of genres: Cody Johnson, Jimmy Eat World, Eels, Flatbush Zombies, Nick Swardson, Shakey Graves, Tory Lanez, Dr. Dog, and Joey Bada$$
