The boundary-pushing British band announced their first North American tour in a decade on Wednesday.

After confirming its first North American concert in a decade last week, Stereolab has shared plans for a sweeping world tour.

The boundary-pushing British band had already announced some European festival dates, but expanded its itinerary overseas, with concerts scheduled for May, June and August.

The group will then hop across the pond in September and October for a robust North American tour, which kicks off Sept. 16 in El Paso, Texas, and concludes with a two-night stand at San Francisco’s Fillmore on Oct. 18 and 19. Along the way, Stereolab will also hit Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club, New York’s Brooklyn Steel (for two nights) and Desert Daze, the festival the band announced plans to play last week.

Stereolab most recently toured North America in fall 2008; their last date stateside was at Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif. on Oct. 24, 2008. The prior night — the most recent North American date for which Pollstar has data available — at the Fonda Theatre, Stereolab sold 718 tickets and grossed $17,950.

The group continued to tour outside of North America in 2009, but beyond a German date in 2011, Stereolab has remained dormant for the past decade. They released Not Music, their tenth and most recent album, in November 2010.

Stereolab have more than a tour up their sleeve. Along with their live dates, the group announced plans to reissue seven of their studio albums over the course of 2019. The campaign begins May 3 with the re-release of 1993’s Transient Random Noise-Bursts With Announcements and 1994’s Mars Audiac Quintet. The band promised more reissues for August and November.
