Summerfest Renews Streaming Partnership With ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

With the launch of Summerfest less than a week away, the festival announced today that it is once again teaming up with “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to provide streams of performances to fans worldwide, free of charge. 

The event returns to Milwaukee’s Henry Maier Festival Park June 27 through July 1 and July 3-8. The festival upholds its nickname of “The World’s Largest Music Festival” by presenting more than 1,000 sets from over 800 acts on 12 stages. Each year Summerfest hosts approximately 850,000 attendees. 
The lineup is stacked with major stars, with headliners on the American Family Insurance Amphitheater including Imagine Dragons, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Halsey, Florida Georgia Line, Bebe Rexha, Dave Matthews Band, J. Cole, Journey, Def Leppard, Shawn Mendes, Charli XCX, Blake Shelton, The Weeknd, and Arcade Fire. 
 
The partnership with the late-night program, following the success of last year’s stream, is made possible with support from American Family Insurance.
 
Select performances on the American Family Insurance Amphitheater stage will be streamed. Fans can check out the sets at JimmyKimmelLiveMusic.com, as well as Summerfest.com, participating artist websites and other sites to be announced. 
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ to bring the Summerfest experience online to a worldwide audience,” Summerfest CEO and president Don Smiley said in a statement. “The featured artists within the stream will represent a variety of genres; diversity of our line-up is a hallmark of the festival and one of the reasons Summerfest has endured over five decades.”
In other news, the 2018 festival will feature daily meet and greets (including photos and autographs) with select artists at the American Family Insurance House, located inside the festival’s mid-gate.
