Toronto-based The Feldman Agency announced the hiring of agent Darcy Gregoire Jan. 23.
Gregoire comes from UTA, where he worked since its acquisition of The Agency Group and booked the likes of Chaka Khan, Macy Gray, Todrick Hall and Daniel Lanois. He has been in Beverly Hills for the last four years, though he was in Toronto prior to that.
Gregoire will book tours in the U.S. and Canada.
“In my first two weeks at The Feldman Agency, I’ve felt as much invigoration, enthusiasm, and excitement as one would ever hope to feel in starting on a new adventure,” Gregoire said in a statement. “The team here is fab. The vision is inspiring. I’m excited to be here and am looking forward to the future together.”
The Feldman Agency changed ownership last year, when it was it sold by Sam Feldman to then company president Jeff Craib and vice president Tom Kemp.
Later that year the company promoted Tom Kemp to senior VP and Joel Baskin to VP. Olivia Ootes was also named VP of operations and Adam Schnitzer made agent.
Craib previously told Pollstar that not only does TFA want to consolidate its strength in Canada, where it has roughly 30 employees working out of Toronto and Western Canada, but it wants to bring in more clients and bolster its sponsorship and partnership divisions.
