The Great Escape talent festival and music industry conference just launched Elevate, a new program aimed at the next generation of business professionals.
The core TGE Elevate programme will provide thirty “super-delegates” – including artists, managers, promoters, label executives and music educators – with an enhanced, subsidized and curated delegate experience, according to the announcement by The Great Escape.
“This will include a personally created conference schedule, access to invite-only seminars and networking events, and Q&A sessions with a number of music industry VIPs,” the announcement reads.
To select deserving participants in the program, TGE is working with organizations like the Association Of Independent Music, the Association Of Independent Promoters, the Featured Artists Coalition, the Music Venue Trust and the Music Managers Forum.
Each of these organisations will nominate a long-list of people who they believe will benefit from this opportunity. TGE will then select the final participants.
In addition to the core programme, TGE Elevate will support the next generation of music industry leaders in other ways too. On the Saturday of the TGE conference a series of Elevate Seminars will be open to all delegates.
A guide published ahead of this year’s TGE, which take place in Brighton, England, May 9-11, will contain tips and advice on how to make the most of attending a music conference and showcase festival.
