The Rolling Stones Postpone ‘No Filter’ Tour In North America

The Rolling Stones’ “No Filter” tour of North America is the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, with all shows postponed to future dates to be announced.

The tour was to launch in San Diego May 8 and end July 9 in Atlanta. Ticketholders are advised by AEG Presents / Concerts West to hold on to their tickets and await further information.

“We’re hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour,” the Stones stated. “We are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we were, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority. We will all get through this together – and we’ll see you very soon.” 

While the postponements hardly come as a surprise in the current environment, the announcement still represents a major economic hole in the industry’s summer. Over the last three years, as the Stones trotted the globe on its ongoing “No Filter” tour, the band has averaged 58,741 tickets per stadium show for a gross of more than $10.6 million dollars.
