Ticketmaster is partnering with the nonprofit Veterans Ticket Foundation to give 780,000 veterans access to tickets through a lottery.

Vet Tix will have a real-time feed of live events tickets through a Ticketmaster integration, meaning the organization’s users – which include veterans, active servicemembers, immediate family of those killed in action, and caretakers – can apply for the tickets and may receive them through a lottery.

“In 2017 Ticketmaster and their clients donated approximately 500,000 tickets and now we can conservatively forecast doubling that and thus allow us to give back even more,” Mike Focareto, founder and CEO of Vet Tix, said in a statement. “By going to these events, servicemembers, veterans and their families are able to reduce the stresses that come with military service and build life-long memories. Whether it’s a game, concert, or a show, these events have an incredible positive benefit to these heroes, and by partnering with Ticketmaster, we will continue to honor them and their families.”

The nonprofit has received more than $28 million in tickets from Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster since 2014. Since its founding in 2008, the company claims to have given out 4.3 million tickets throughout the U.S.
