Social media video platform TikTok has announced a #HappyAtHome Livestream series this week, with a “Sound Check” series on Friday featuring major artists like Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Jason Derulo, Troye Sivan, Meghan Trainor and many others.

The company has partnered with a variety of celebrities and creators to launch the #HappyAtHome week of nightly programming that kicked off yesterday.
“The goal is simple: share in a bit of levity, provide some comfort, and embrace the responsibility we all have to do the right thing by staying inside and stopping the spread,” TikTok’s US head of content programming Greg Justice says in a statement. “There’s a lot we can’t do right now, but this is one small way we can all help each other during these trying times.”
The themed days include Motivation Monday with Try Banks, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Derek Hough and others; Kick Back Tuesday with game night, makeup tutorials, and chat sessions with the likes of Loren Gray, Charli D’Amelio, Adam Ray, and Addison Rae; Show & Tell Wednesday (Dear Evan Hansen star Jordan Fisher, magic tricks with Zach King, actress and entrepreneur Tracee Ellis Ross,); EduTok Thursday (Dr. Phil and Bill Nye, as well as WHO Q&A livestream sessions) and Sound Check Friday.
Sound Check promises “intimate performances from top artists’ homes to yours,” including host Alicia Keys, Jason Derulo, Megan Thee Stallion, Troye Sivan, Meghan Trainor, Yungblud, Hailee Steinfeld, Lauv, Kelsea Ballerini, and DJ Khaled.
“I love TikTok because I feel like it gives people an inside to my real personality in an organic way. I’m looking forward to connecting with the TikTok community even more on LIVE! as we get through this difficult time together!” – Jason Derulo

“…super excited to be a part of this. It’s so important to be able to connect with people in these uncertain times. Can’t wait to chat to you all on Friday. Lets gooooo .” – Yungblud

“I’m always looking for new ways to connect with fans on TikTok, especially in this season of social distancing. They are so creative and funny, I’m excited to get to know them better and make the best of all of this together.

” – Kelsea Ballerini

“Especially with everything going on right now, I want to connect with my fans and everyone at home as much as possible. I’m stoked to livestream and vibe and play music and vibe more. And vibe. Vibes!” – Lauv
Justice’s statement concludes: “This is a difficult time for the world as a whole, but it’s also possible for our shared sense of concern to be a commonality that brings us closer. It’s on us to come together as a community, understand how we’re all still connected, and recognize the importance of helping support, encourage, and even uplift one another. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay #HappyAtHome.
