Tom Morello brings his guitar to life at the Norva in Norfolk, Va. on May 15.

Tom Morello will return to the road this fall with a live production designed by Roger Waters creative director Sean Evans. The “Atlas Underground Fall Offensive” tour is the latest Morello stint to promote last year’s The Atlas Underground, the Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist’s first album under his own name.

Promoted by Live Nation, the tour begins Oct. 21 at Minneapolis’ Varsity Theater and concludes Nov. 12 at San Francisco’s The Fillmore. Dates along the way include an Oct. 22 gig at Chicago’s Vic Theatre and a Nov. 2 hometown show at Los Angeles’ Belasco Theater. Morello will also perform at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Fla., and at HARD Halloween Red Rocks in Morrison, Co.

Morello describes the “Atlas Underground Fall Offensive” tour as “combining the visual wizardry of Roger Waters’ artistic director with [his] entire career’s worth of STFU riffs,” making him “ready to level North America one venue at a time. The show will be an intense sonic and visual ‘less talk, more rock’ experience that’s somewhere between a crazy mosh pit, an illegal rave, a subversive art installation, and a prison riot.”

The fall tour follows the success of the Morello’s other touring behind The Atlas Underground in late 2018 and early 2019. Pollstar Boxoffice reports include a sold-out Dec. 11 date at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley that grossed $14,305 and a Dec. 15 gig at Austin’s Emo’s that grossed $21,300. Morello’s spring itinerary included stops at Ultra Music Festival, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, Welcome to Rockville and Epicenter Festival, as well as a U.K. run supporting Muse.
