Tomorrowland’s digital world.

The people behind the iconic Tomorrowland Festival have offered glimpses into the four virtual stages, on which Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Major Lazer, Martin Garrix, DJ Snoopadelic, and more will perform a New Year’s Eve show.

The digital festival grounds are called NAOZ. The design team have programmed more than 65,000 virtual flags, 1,200 virtual fireworks, 2,750 virtual lights and 152 virtual cameras.
The team even hired extras to record realistic audience noises, like cheering, applause and singalongs.
A new trailer displays the four virtual stages Melodia, Atmosphere, Planaxis and Pulse.

Like the virtual edition of Tomorrowland’s main event in summer, the New Year’s Eve festival will be ticketed. A so-called NYE Pass cost €20 ($24), which will give buyers live access to the four stages on Dec. 31.
The event will run from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. in each territory.
A on-demand pass, which will grant access to the shows until Jan. 14, costs €25 ($30). There’s also a “Home Celebration” pass for €50 ($60) available, which includes one NYE Pass as well as four on-demand passes.
The team behind Tomorrowland describe NAOZ as a “future-proof” virtual event location for digital entertainment all year round.
