UTA Announces Over 100 Promotions Across More Than 30 Departments

After announcing its largest partner class ever in late 2020, UTA has kept the good times going with news today that the company has made over 100 promotions – marking the largest promotions class in UTA’s 30-year history.

Nearly 60% of the staff who were promoted identify as women and over 35% identify as people of color.

The promotions span across more than 30 divisions and multiple global offices from departments including Business Affairs, Comedy Touring, Culture & Leadership, Digital Talent, Emerging Platforms, Endorsements & Voiceover, Fine Arts, Growth & Operations, Marketing, Media Rights, Motion Picture Literary, Music, Music Innovations, Sports, Talent and Video Games.
Of those promoted to agent, 90% started their careers in UTA’s agent training program, as well as nearly 80% of those promoted to coordinator.
In the Music department, promotions include Tara Austin to manager; Megan Braley, Bowie Chen, Carmen Chiles, Akhil Hegde, and Jacob Simone to coordinator; Haley Fairman, Parker Glenn, Karina Gonzalez, Natalie Koe, Kaleb Tooker, and Zoe Williamson to agent; and Keshia Floyd to senior manager, and Nicole Schoen to executive. In the Music Innovation department, Leigh Andrzejewski was promoted to agent.
“Amid the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the pandemic, having the ability to promote over 100 colleagues is a testament to the perseverance of our UTA family and the continued evolution and expansion of our company,” UTA Co-President David Kramer said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more proud or grateful for this group’s resilience and innovative thinking in the face of adversity, and we can’t wait to watch them thrive in their new positions.”
Recent hires in newly created positions at UTA in early 2021 include Heather Brooks Karatz as Executive Vice President of Growth and Operations; Jean-Rene Zetrenne as Chief People Officer; Clinton Foy as General Partner, Venture Capital; and Danny Barton as Sports Content Executive.
